Since we opened in 2007, we have worked hard to provide the best childcare possible for our parents. We have been at the forefront of pioneering a special kind of childcare that is unlike anything that is offered in central Virginia.
What we have achieved
We are currently the largest Child Care provider in the Lynchburg area. We opened in March 2007 with one site and 43 kids in Rustburg, VA. Since that time we have grown to 4 locations, with around 750 children, and over 135 employees! In fact, we have grown so big that we opened our own fun center called the The Warehouse which is located at our headquarters in Madison Heights. For nearly a decade we have cared for thousands of kids in the Lynchburg area helping them to grow, and teaching them basic Christian values along the way!
philosophy
The Caterpillar Clubhouse is open to all children, regardless of race, creed, or nationality, who may benefit from our type of program! We offer a program of play and learning for children ranging in age from infant to 5 years old. We also offer a before and after school program for children ages 6-12. During the summer months we offer a full day program for children 6-12 years of age with special activities and themed weeks!
The Caterpillar Clubhouse is a for profit operation which is a privately owned and administered by SET Inc. Caterpillar Clubhouse teaches Christian principles and values to each of the children attending. Specific church doctrines are not taught. The operation is administered by a state-licensed director. Caterpillar Clubhouse is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services and has been inspected and approved by the:
